Martín de Prado Picual is an oil with strength and personality, it presents very defined sensory nuances that evoke its characteristic fruitiness. Aroma of fresh wood and tomato. With a slight touch of almond, banana and apple, with some bitterness and a spicy nuance.

A full-bodied oil whose aromas will range from green, to tomato or fig leaf. Its early harvesting provides a green fruity oil of medium intensity, with moderate bitterness and spiciness.

An oil with a very intense flavor reminiscent of wood, grass and green fruit.

In addition, its composition gives it a high resistance to oxidation and it is considered to be the most stable oil.

Elaboration

Only carefully selected olives are used in the production process, raw material of the highest quality, extracted from olive groves in Extremadura with the implementation of the latest cultivation methods, thus achieving the optimum ripening of each variety.

The result is excellent, a careful selection of handcrafted oils resulting from the study, research and development of the latest harvesting, extraction and packaging techniques.

Pairing

Enhances the flavor of sausages, cured meats, ham and cheeses. Perfect also for intense game macerates or for raw dishes. It is the oil to be used for frying, as it is the most resistant to heat.

Its use is recommended for the preparation of white and mild fish, pastas, sauces and emulsions. It is also suitable for preserving raw or cooked foods, due to its richness in natural antioxidants and high resistance to oxidation.

Its high level of natural antioxidants makes it especially suitable for health care. This variety contains a phenol called Oleocanthal which has anti-inflammatory properties.

Picual EVOO is the perfect accompaniment for boiled vegetables, especially potatoes. It also works perfectly as a base for your rice dishes, paellas and many of your stews.
