Located in the cradle of the olive tree, Jaén, we honor and carry forward the dedication of our ancestors, which dates back thousands of years. As true lovers of extra virgin olive oil and its culture, we actively promote and share the many health benefits of its consumption — a true symbol of well-being.

One of our main goals is to preserve and spread the cultural heritage of extra virgin olive oil, carefully attending to the harvesting and milling of the olives under optimal conditions.

When it came time to name our company, countless possibilities filled our notebooks. In the end, it was the first letters of our parents’ surnames — MERcado and GAvilán — combined with a word so deeply rooted in our land, OLIVA, that shaped our identity. And so, MERGAOLIVA was born — a brand dedicated to the production and commercialization of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
