It was in 1873 when the first oil harvest took place in Arroyovil, the Martínez-Bordiú family olive grove located at the foot of the Sierra Mágina, in Jaén.
Conde de Argillo is an Extra Virgin olive oil of the picual variety, the result of the tradition, effort and affection of five generations that for more than a century have worked to obtain the best quality of one of the greatest treasures of Spain, liquid gold. .
The Arroyovil farm is located in the foothills of the Sierra Mágina, from whose springs come the waters that are used in the irrigation of its 8000 centenary olive trees. The combination of the qualities of this water and the unique weather conditions, give rise to that "fresh" flavor and characteristic of its picual variety olives.
The Arroyovil farm belongs to the same family since 1873, so the cultivation of the olive tree is part of their culture and family tradition, putting all their interest in obtaining high quality oil.
Its main objective is to ensure the highest quality of the product and for this they carry out all the phases of the process such as harvesting, production, packaging and marketing, guaranteeing perfect traceability throughout its entire journey.
